These rules apply to everyone who uses ProposalUp. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In short: be honest, be lawful, and respect the people you contact.

Only contact businesses you're allowed to contact

Only send proposals and emails to businesses you are lawfully allowed to contact. If you upload a contact list, you confirm you have the right to use it.

Be honest

• No spam or bulk unsolicited messages.
• No misleading claims about you, your business or your prices.
• No fake reviews, testimonials or invented results.

Follow email and data-protection rules

Follow UK and EU email and data-protection law, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. Always honour opt-outs and unsubscribe requests promptly, and never contact someone again after they've asked you to stop.

No harmful content

Don't use ProposalUp for anything illegal, hateful, harassing or adult in nature.

If the rules are broken

We may pause or close accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you why and give you the chance to put things right.
