ProposalUp ("we", "our") respects your privacy and complies with UK GDPR. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Data we collect

• Account details: name, email, business details you provide.
• Uploaded documents you provide to train the AI on your business.
• Prospect data you generate through the platform.
• Usage analytics (aggregated, no personal profiling).

Business contacts we approach

When we or our customers contact a business, we use only business details that are published: the Companies House register (company name, number, registered office and directors' names), Google business listings, and the company's own website (published business email, phone and contact pages). We never guess or build email addresses. Each detail is stored with its source and the date it was checked. Business phone numbers are screened against TPS/CTPS before calling. To opt out, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact hello@proposalup.co.uk, and we will add you to our suppression list.

How we use it

• To operate the ProposalUp service and generate proposals for you.
• To bill your subscription via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (proposal delivery, receipts).

Storage & security

Data is stored in encrypted databases with row-level security. Uploaded files use private buckets with signed URLs.

Your rights

Signed-in customers can download a full copy of their data or delete their account and records instantly from Privacy & data in the dashboard. Everyone else can request an export or erasure via the contact form.
